James Avery Artisan Jewelry broke ground Tuesday, March 10 at their new regional corporate offices, The Artisan at James Avery Plaza, in Cedar Park, Texas. The new building will allow the family-owned jewelry retailer based in Kerrville, Texas to grow their presence in the greater Austin area.
“We have been renting space in the Austin area for the past 10 years, predominantly for company IT operations and staff,” said John McCullough, James Avery CEO. “After renting offices all of this time, it makes financial sense for us to purchase property and build.”
The Artisan at James Avery Plaza will be a multi-use space for company internet technology, retail operations and human resources support teams as well as a customer service center. These teams are co-located between Austin and Kerrville. The James Avery corporate headquarters will remain in their hometown of Kerrville.
The 65-year-old Texas Hill Country company, known for their sterling silver and gold jewelry, anticipates growth in both Kerrville and Cedar Park to meet ongoing business needs. Their new regional office is projected to house around 100 positions, including associates from their current Austin area location.
“As we grow, we continually evaluate our workforce and space needs to ensure we constantly offer the James Avery shopping experience and quality pieces designed with the meaning and connection our customers expect,” said McCullough. “The new Cedar Park offices, paired with our original Kerrville headquarters, will attract and retain top talent company-wide.”
The Artisan at James Avery Plaza is located at 6300 Toll Road 183A, Cedar Park, Texas 78641 at the crossroads of Toll Road 183 A and Scottsdale Drive. There will be office space available for rent in The Artisan, and all parties interested in leasing space should call Aquila Commercial for information at 512-684-3800 or visit their website AquilaCommercial.com.
