A new restaurant is on the way to downtown Liberty Hill. The City announced this week that building permits have been issued and renovations are officially underway at 929 Main Street, a site with a long and colorful history.
The building has worn many hats over the years, serving as a bank, grocery store, feed store, movie theater, and chiropractor’s office. Soon, it will take on a new identity as the home of a restaurant, though city officials say the name of the business has not yet been released.
The project marks another step in the rapid growth of Liberty Hill’s downtown area, where new businesses continue to bring life to Main Street while preserving the historic character of the community.
