According to a Facebook post by Leander Mayor Troy Hill, the Old Town Leander building most recently occupied by Maria’s Mexican Restaurant will soon be home to a new restaurant from the owners of Cedar Pork.

Troy Hill Mayor– Very happy to announce a new restaurant opening in the Maria’s building in Old Town. The Owners of Cedar Pork are bringing the best food from their variety of food trucks. They also are building an outdoor space and said the Old Town Park we are building would be something they want to take part in. This is why we are building this amazing park, so that we offer programmed events that bring people to Old Town. This joins Thirsty Chicken next to Maria’s, a restaurant/bar that is coming, and a Brewery. All part of a growing destination.
