The Rabbit Hole Neighborhood Bar Set to Open in Leander on March 31

The Rabbit Hole, a new neighborhood bar, will open its doors on Friday, March 31 in Leander, Texas. Located at 2080 N. US-183 unit 145 in the San Gabriel Ridge shopping center, The Rabbit Hole is a spinoff project from the team behind The Lucky Rabbit, a successful bar that opened in Jonestown just one year ago.

Owners Matt Morcher, Sandra Cleveland, and Matt and Shelly Delahoussaye invite patrons to “go down the rabbit hole” by offering high-quality cocktails, live music on weekend nights, and a welcoming atmosphere for friends, family, and solo visitors. The bar’s interior, which seats 68, is designed with clock gears, exposed brick walls, murals of clock-like rabbits, and Edison-style light fixtures.

The Rabbit Hole’s drink menu includes cocktails with playful rabbit-themed names, such as Bug’s Old Fashioned, the 24 Carrot Gold, and the Bubbly Bunny. The bar also offers a variety of frozen drinks, local beers, and red and white wines. Food options consist of bar snacks and heartier dishes available from neighboring restaurants Sabino’s Pizza Pub and Ah Thinh Asian Cuisine.

Co-owner Matt Morcher emphasized the importance of bringing a neighborhood bar to the Leander area, where he and Cleveland live. He expressed excitement about providing affordable craft cocktails, excellent service, and live music to the community.

The Grand Opening party on March 31 will begin at 2 p.m. and feature live music by Luke Daniel and Carter Whitaker. A time-themed happy hour will offer new specials at the top of every hour. The Rabbit Hole is a 21+ establishment with hours of operation from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. to midnight on Monday through Thursday.
