A new Shake Shack is officially on its way to Williamson County. The upcoming location at 1320 W University Ave in Georgetown will occupy a 3,000-square-foot space, with interior buildout scheduled to begin March 2, 2026 and wrap by June 29, 2026.
The project, listed at $980,000, includes full interior improvements for the fast-casual burger chain—new kitchen equipment, mechanical and plumbing systems, lighting, finishes, and partitioning. Exterior elements like the drive-thru, patio, façade, and landscaping are being handled separately by the landlord under a different permit.
Shake Shack’s expansion into Georgetown marks the latest sign of the city’s continued retail and dining growth along University Avenue.
