Buddy’s Burger plans new Leander location with $450,000 investment

A new fast food restaurant is set to break ground in Williamson County next year.

Buddy’s Burger will begin construction on a 3,500-square-foot location at 309 N. U.S. 183 in Leander on Jan. 1, 2026, according to state filings. The project, estimated at $450,000, is scheduled for completion by Aug. 1, 2026.

The privately funded development will include a new restaurant building and associated site work.

Buddy’s Burger describes itself as a locally owned burger joint serving handmade burgers daily. The restaurant uses 100% Angus chuck beef, never frozen, with no antibiotics or hormones. Menu items also include seasoned fries made with a 14-spice blend and hand-squeezed lemonade prepared in-house.
