A familiar face in Georgetown’s coffee scene is putting down roots.
Rose & Dagger Coffee Company, a locally owned mobile coffee business known for serving events and community gatherings, is moving into its first brick-and-mortar location in downtown Georgetown.
The business announced it will open at 1005 S. Rock St., transitioning from its coffee truck operation into a permanent storefront after building a local customer base through pop-up service and community events.
Owners Madison and Jackson said the move represents the culmination of “countless early mornings, late nights, and a whole lot of coffee,” according to a recent announcement shared by the Downtown Georgetown Association.
The new location marks a significant milestone for the small business, which has operated as a mobile vendor while traveling to events across the region. The company describes its brand around “bold lines” and “bold coffee,” and currently operates Tuesday through Saturday mornings.
In addition to the new storefront, the owners are inviting supporters to participate in a founders membership program aimed at helping launch the next phase of the business while offering early supporters special perks.
Downtown Georgetown Association officials celebrated the announcement, calling the move an example of the kind of local entrepreneurship and community support that continues to shape Georgetown’s small-business landscape.
