Tim Hortons is planning a new coffee shop in Leander, according to a state construction filing.
The approximately 2,000-square-foot shop is planned for 15513 Ronald Reagan Blvd., Suite 110, in Williamson County. The project calls for interior tenant improvements to an existing building.
Construction is scheduled to begin Sept. 1 and be completed by Dec. 31, according to the filing. The privately funded project has an estimated cost of $400,000.
The filing does not list an anticipated opening date.
Tim Hortons, founded in Canada, is known for its coffee, doughnuts, breakfast sandwiches and other quick-service menu items.
