Catherine Totty has been sworn in as Williamson County’s new tax assessor-collector.
County Judge Steve Snell administered the oath of office during Tuesday’s Williamson County Commissioners Court meeting. Totty officially began serving in the position July 21.
The tax assessor-collector’s office collects property taxes for the county and participating local governments. It also provides vehicle registration, title and voter registration services.
County officials congratulated Totty and welcomed her to the position during the meeting.
