Snarf’s Sandwiches is planning a new location in Georgetown, expanding the Colorado-based restaurant chain’s presence in Texas.
The sandwich shop is planned for a 2,434-square-foot space at 1310 W. University Ave., Suite 103, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing.
The company expects to begin renovating the space Sept. 7 and complete the project Dec. 13. The estimated cost is $350,000.
The project will involve interior renovations to convert the commercial space into a sandwich shop. Construction dates and costs listed in state filings are estimates and may change.
Jimmy “Snarf” Seidel founded Snarf’s Sandwiches in Boulder, Colorado, in 1996. The family-owned company has since expanded to nearly 60 locations across Colorado, Missouri and Texas.
Snarf’s specializes in made-to-order, oven-toasted sandwiches prepared with meats, cheeses, vegetables and the company’s giardiniera pepper blend. Its menu includes Italian, prime rib, French dip and New York steak sandwiches.
The restaurant also offers salads, soups, children’s meals, vegetarian and gluten-free options, desserts and catering.
Snarf’s frequently restores and adapts existing commercial spaces for its restaurants. Its locations feature custom artwork and décor intended to give each restaurant an individual appearance.
