A new season of fall festivities is set to begin Oct. 1 in Lago Vista with the opening of the Hill Country Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch.
The festival will run Thursdays through Sundays through Nov. 15 at 5300 Lohmans Ford Road, according to event organizers. Gates open at 10 a.m.
The family-oriented event will feature a pumpkin patch, tractor train rides, a petting zoo, maze, games and fall-themed photo opportunities. Helicopter rides are also listed among the planned attractions.
Food trucks and local artisans and vendors will be on site, offering food, treats and locally sold goods. The festival will also feature the 1914 Cowboy Bar.
Organizers are promoting the event as a celebration of Hill Country traditions, with activities designed for both children and adults.
