Sami Sumeli Introduces New Happy Hour With $5 Beers, Discounted Wine and $7 Bites in Cedar Park

Sami Sumeli, a family-owned restaurant specializing in Georgian and European cuisine, has introduced a new happy hour featuring discounted drinks and appetizers at its location at 401 E. Whitestone Blvd. in Cedar Park.

The restaurant announced the specials in a social media post shared with the Cedar Park Foodies Facebook group.

Happy hour is offered Tuesday through Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m., with all beers priced at $5 and wines discounted 20%.

The restaurant is also offering three specialty cocktails for $7 each: Aperol Spritz, Mango Mojito and Classic Margarita.

The new happy hour food menu includes three appetizers priced at $7:

Hot Lobio: A traditional Georgian bean dish.

Fried Khinkali: Two pieces of Georgian dumplings, available in any flavor.

Chicken Jalapeño Cheese Empanadas: Two empanadas featuring a new recipe available exclusively during happy hour.

Sami Sumeli specializes in Georgian cuisine, which features distinctive dishes influenced by the culinary traditions of the Caucasus region, where Georgia sits at the crossroads of Europe and Asia.

The restaurant describes itself as the first in the area to offer khinkali, traditional Georgian dumplings, and Adjaruli khachapuri, a boat-shaped bread typically filled with cheese and topped with an egg.

The family-owned establishment emphasizes traditional flavors and hospitality while introducing Cedar Park diners to dishes that are less commonly found in Central Texas restaurants.

The new happy hour provides an opportunity for customers to sample Georgian specialties at reduced prices.

Sami Sumeli is located at 401 E. Whitestone Blvd., Cedar Park, TX 78613.
