A brand new Whataburger location is under construction at 140 West Metro Drive in Leander, next to the H-E-B Plus. According to Whataburger Area Manager Aaron Santos, the location was expected to open on May 24. However, construction temporarily stopped on the site because landscaping plans needed to be reworked. Santos says the restaurant will now open July 5.
The Leander Whataburger is not the only new location for WilCo. A new Round Rock Whataburger location opened earlier this month.
