According to Austin Business Journal, Electric Pickle, a restaurant featuring pickleball, is coming to a 4-acre site at 580 Spanish Oaks St. in Cedar Park. The Business Journal reports that in addition to a dozen pickleball courts, the venue will feature a two story restaurant, rooftop bar, live music stage, and bocce ball court. According to Wikipedia, “Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, much like a wiffle ball, with 26-40 round holes, over a net.”
