Banana Island, which bills itself a “modern, luxury lounge, offering premium cocktails and delicacies with flavors from Africa,” is now open in Round Rock. In addition to familiar proteins like beef, chicken, and fish, the menu also features more exotic offerings like Isi Uwu, a dish featuring spiced goat head in a thick, richly flavored, spicy sauce. Garnished with fresh onion, habanero peppers and utazi leaves. The new restaurant and bar is located at 311 University Blvd., Round Rock, TX 78665.
