Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Swears In Two New Corrections Deputies

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office has sworn in two new corrections deputies, according to a social media post shared by the agency this week.

Sheriff Matthew Lindemann administered the oath of office to the department’s newest corrections deputies, identified as Walker and Horbovetz, during a ceremony held last week.

In a statement posted to social media, the sheriff’s office said it was extending “a huge congratulations and a warm welcome” to the new deputies as they begin their careers with the agency.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office oversees law enforcement and detention operations in one of the fastest-growing counties in Texas. Corrections deputies are responsible for maintaining safety and security within the county jail and supervising inmates in custody.

Photos shared by the department show the deputies taking their oath, signing official documents and being recognized during the swearing-in ceremony.
