A new indoor action park featuring giant slides, air courts and family attractions is headed to Round Rock, according to state permitting records.
Slick City Action Park plans to renovate a 44,602-square-foot commercial space at 701 N. Red Bud Lane for a new location called Slick City Round Rock, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The $1 million renovation project is scheduled to begin July 15, 2026, and reach completion by Sept. 1, 2026. The project is privately funded and will transform an existing first-generation, single-story end-cap retail space into an indoor attraction park that includes slides and a café.
Founded in 2022, Slick City bills itself as the world’s first indoor slide and air court park, offering attractions designed to recreate the sensation of waterslides without water in a climate-controlled environment. The company says its parks feature proprietary slides, sports-style air courts and dedicated areas for younger children.
Headquartered in St. Louis and Nashville, the company has expanded rapidly since opening its first location in Denver in early 2022. Slick City says it has dozens of locations open nationwide, with additional sites under construction or awarded through franchise agreements.
The Round Rock location would add to the growing mix of indoor entertainment offerings in Williamson County, positioning itself as a year-round destination for birthday parties, group outings and family recreation regardless of weather conditions.
State records describe the planned facility as an indoor attraction park featuring slides and a café inside an existing commercial building on grade.
The filing does not specify an opening date, and construction timelines are subject to change.
