The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office officially welcomed two new members to its team during a swearing-in ceremony held Friday at the Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Matthew Lindemann administered the oath of office to Corrections Officer Ivy and Corrections Deputy Moore during the ceremony, marking the beginning of their service with the department.
Officials said the new hires will play important roles in supporting public safety and serving the residents of Williamson County.
The Sheriff’s Office expressed appreciation for the commitment both individuals have made to public service and welcomed them to the agency’s ranks.
“We’re grateful for their dedication to our community and excited to see the great things they’ll bring to our team and public safety,” the department said in a statement.
Family members, colleagues and department staff joined in congratulating Officer Ivy and Deputy Moore as they begin their careers with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
The department encouraged residents to welcome the new officers and wished them success in their new roles.
