The Cedar Park Police Department conducted 37 traffic stops during a targeted enforcement operation over the weekend aimed at addressing speeding, racing, loud exhaust violations and other nuisance-related complaints along Anderson Mill Road.
The initiative, dubbed “Operation Quiet the Corner,” was launched in response to ongoing concerns from residents about disruptive late-night activity in the area, according to the department.
Police said officers focused enforcement efforts on racing, excessive speed, reckless driving, loud exhaust violations and gatherings that generated noise complaints from nearby neighborhoods.
During the operation, officers conducted 37 traffic stops while enforcing traffic laws and city ordinances intended to improve public safety and quality of life for residents living near the corridor.
According to the department, the operation combined high-visibility patrols with focused enforcement efforts designed to deter unsafe and unlawful behavior while increasing police presence in the area.
The Cedar Park Police Department said it plans to continue addressing community concerns through enforcement, education and community partnerships aimed at improving roadway safety and reducing neighborhood disturbances.
