Chicken Salad Chick is planning a new restaurant in Leander, according to a recent state filing.
The project is planned for 1060 Hero Way, Building 2, in Leander. The filing describes the work as an interior build-out of an existing shell building tenant space for a 2,582-square-foot Chicken Salad Chick restaurant.
The project is privately funded and located on private land for private use. Construction is expected to begin May 18 and be completed Aug. 7, according to the filing. The estimated cost of construction is $850,000.
No exterior work is proposed. The shell building was previously permitted under a separate building permit.
Chicken Salad Chick serves chicken salad, soups, sides and sweet treats made fresh daily.
