Chocolate lovers will have an opportunity to learn the art and science of chocolate making during a hands-on Bean to Bar Chocolate Experience hosted by Kushi Ecuadorian Chocolate on July 11.
The 90-minute event is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the company’s shop, located at 251 N. Bell Blvd., Suite 110, in Cedar Park.
According to promotional materials, participants will explore the journey of cacao from farm to finished chocolate bar. The experience includes an introduction to cacao origins, demonstrations of chocolate-making equipment and processes, guided tastings featuring chocolates with varying cacao percentages and flavor profiles, and an opportunity for attendees to create and customize their own chocolate bars using premium toppings.
Organizers said guests will also take home their handcrafted chocolate creations.
The event is designed for families, friends and chocolate enthusiasts of all ages.
Tickets are priced at $30 per person, plus tax. An early-bird rate of $25 per person, plus tax, is available through July 7. Space is limited.
Kushi specializes in Ecuadorian chocolate and highlights the bean-to-bar process, which focuses on producing chocolate from cacao beans through the finished product rather than using pre-made chocolate.
