Oak & Stone, a Florida-based restaurant known for artisan pizza and a self-pour tap wall, is planning its first Central Texas location at Leander’s Northline development.
The restaurant is planned for a 5,827-square-foot space at 516 E. San Gabriel Parkway, Suite 190, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The privately funded project is expected to cost about $1.75 million. Renovations are scheduled to begin Oct. 31 and be completed Dec. 31, although construction timelines are subject to change. An opening date has not been announced.
Oak & Stone combines a craft kitchen and full-service bar with a self-pour tap wall featuring a rotating selection of beer, wine and other drinks. Customers can sample different beverages and control how much they pour rather than ordering a full glass.
The restaurant’s menu includes artisan pizzas, scratch-made wings, burgers, sandwiches, salads and shareable appetizers.
Founded in Sarasota, Florida, Oak & Stone operates several restaurants across that state. The company has begun expanding into Texas, with a restaurant open in McKinney and another location planned in Addison.
The Leander restaurant would be part of Northline, a 116-acre mixed-use development envisioned as the city’s new downtown district. Plans for Northline include restaurants, shops, apartments, offices, hotels and public gathering spaces near the 183A toll road.
