Jarrell voters will elect a mayor and two City Council members in the Nov. 3 election, with the only contested race appearing in Place 1.
Lori Allen is the only candidate listed for mayor on Williamson County’s official sample ballot. Allen currently serves on the council in Place 2.
Daniel J. Klepac faces Frederick Coy for the Place 1 council seat. Klepac currently serves as the city’s mayor pro tem. Verified information about Coy’s professional background and campaign priorities was limited in the sources reviewed.
Tim Jordan is the only candidate listed for Place 2, the seat currently held by Allen. Verified biographical information about Jordan was also limited.
The mayor and council help determine the city’s budget, tax rate, development policies and municipal services as Jarrell continues to grow.
Early voting runs Oct. 19-30. Election Day is Nov. 3, and the voter registration deadline is Oct. 5.
