LongHorn Steakhouse plans to build a $3.8 million restaurant at 2800 Innovation Blvd., with construction scheduled to begin in March 2027, according to project information.
The 5,780-square-foot restaurant would include associated site work and landscaping. The privately funded project lists a construction start date of March 1, 2027, and an estimated completion date of Aug. 15, 2027.
The construction schedule does not establish an opening date, and project timelines are subject to change.
LongHorn opened its first restaurant in Atlanta in 1981 and became part of Darden Restaurants in 2007. Darden’s restaurant brands also include Olive Garden, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen and Yard House.
The chain specializes in seasoned, grilled steaks. According to the company, its steaks are fresh, never frozen, and prepared to order.
The Hutto project would bring the national steakhouse chain to a new location in Williamson County.
