It was recently reported by Austin Monthly that SLAB BBQ & Beer is planning a third central Texas location in the Cedar Park area. The article left the exact location a mystery. Last night, Williamson Reporter noticed some painting tools and drop cloths inside the shuttered Cedar Park location of Pieology Pizzeria at 905 E Whitestone Boulevard. Closer inspection revealed a new SLAB BBQ & Beer mural covering an entire wall. Mystery solved!

We bridge the taste bud gap of the Dirty South from Memphis, to the Carolinas, Alabama, and Texas. SLAB began as a food trailer in 2006 and in August 2014 established a brick and mortar location, already becoming the restaurant everyone’s raving about.
