Moath Zaben, the winner of last year’s Fort Worth Star-Telegram Best Burger in DFW poll wasn’t even originally on the ballot. DFW burger aficionados wrote-in Zaben’s Mo’s Best Eatery which ultimately beat out many Metroplex burger legends. Recently, Zaben brought his burgers, as well as a complete menu featuring diverse offerings like Philly cheesesteaks, real northeast style pizza, fried chicken, pasta, creative salads, breakfast, burgers, and more, to the former El Pollo Rico building at 325 N. Bell Blvd. in Cedar Park. Unfortunately, the building sustained extensive damage to the roof and water damage to the interior shortly after Zaben completed the build-out and opened Mo’s Best Eatery in Cedar Park.
Zaben had quickly built a following of raving fans and friends once he opened in the Cedar Park area. One of those friends, Moonie’s Burger House owner Craig Cohen, offered to rent Zaben a food trailer and a spot to park it after damage to Mo’s brick and mortar location and a dispute with the landlord forced its closure. Mo’s Best Eatery fans can now get their fix at the Mo’s Best Eatery food trailer, parked right behind Moonie’s on Bell Boulevard.
