A new chicken wing restaurant is preparing to open in Leander, bringing its menu of wings, tenders and sandwiches to the growing North Austin suburb.
Atomic Wings is expected to open in less than two weeks at 144 South Drive, Suite 130, according to franchise owner Varaprasad Patchava.
The restaurant chain specializes in made-to-order jumbo chicken wings and offers a menu that includes chicken tenders, sandwiches and a variety of sauces and flavors. Company representatives say the brand uses fresh, never-frozen chicken and serves products raised without antibiotics.
The Leander location is in a retail center near the intersection of U.S. Highway 183 and South Drive.
An official grand opening date has not yet been announced, but the business says additional details will be released soon.
