Paris Baguette is expanding its Central Texas presence with a new bakery café in Georgetown, marking the international chain’s 28th location in Texas.
The French-inspired bakery café is scheduled for a soft opening Friday, Aug. 14, at 1314 W. University Ave. in Georgetown.
The new location is owned by Georgetown-area residents Saige and David Lee. David Lee has been a Paris Baguette customer for more than 20 years and previously worked in corporate retail operations. The Georgetown café will be his first Paris Baguette franchise.
The bakery specializes in French-inspired artisan pastries, breads baked fresh daily, celebration cakes and coffee. The company markets its locations as neighborhood gathering places where customers can meet over pastries, coffee and other baked goods.
Paris Baguette has been expanding across Texas as part of the brand’s broader U.S. growth. The Georgetown opening will bring the company to 28 locations in the state.
The Georgetown café’s Aug. 14 opening will be a soft opening, allowing the new location to begin serving customers as operations get underway.
