Whitestone Brewery and 600 Degrees Pizzeria will host an Oktoberfest celebration Saturday, Sept. 19, featuring live music, stein-holding contests, food and a vendor market.
The event will be held at Whitestone Brewery, 401 E. Whitestone Blvd., Suite A-108, in Cedar Park. Activities are scheduled throughout the afternoon, with a vendor market presented by 512 Market Days running from noon to 6 p.m.
Stein-holding contests will begin at 2:30 p.m., with separate divisions for men, women and children. Live music from the JT Fest Duo is scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m.
Whitestone Brewery also plans to offer a special Oktoberfest food menu in conjunction with 600 Degrees Pizzeria.
Organizers are encouraging attendees to wear traditional Oktoberfest attire, including lederhosen, for the celebration.
The event combines the German festival tradition with local beer, food, shopping and entertainment.
