The Williamson County Fair and Rodeo will return Oct. 21-24, bringing four days of carnival attractions, livestock-themed entertainment, live music and rodeo competition to Taylor.
The annual event will take place at 5350 Bill Pickett Trail, with activities designed for visitors of all ages.
Presented by the Nyle Maxwell Family of Dealerships, the fair will feature a carnival, pig races, a petting zoo, a car show and a barbecue cookoff, along with four nights of rodeo action.
Organizers are promoting the event as a family-friendly celebration of Williamson County’s agricultural heritage, Western traditions and community spirit.
The rodeo will be a centerpiece of the festivities, offering spectators an opportunity to experience the excitement of traditional rodeo competition. The fairgrounds will also host carnival rides and attractions, providing entertainment beyond the rodeo arena.
Pig races and a petting zoo will offer activities for younger visitors and families, while a car show and barbecue cookoff will add to the variety of attractions.
Live music is also scheduled throughout the four-day event, bringing another entertainment option to the fairgrounds.
The fair comes as Williamson County continues to experience rapid population growth, with events celebrating the region’s agricultural roots providing opportunities for longtime residents and newcomers to connect with local traditions.
Taylor, in eastern Williamson County, will serve as the host community for the festivities.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 21, through Saturday, Oct. 24.
Additional information about admission prices, carnival hours, rodeo schedules and individual performances was not included in the promotional announcement.
