Liberty Hill welcomes its first Whataburger with grand opening celebration

Liberty Hill has officially welcomed its first Whataburger, marking another milestone in the rapidly growing Williamson County community.
The new restaurant, located at 12925 W. State Highway 29, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by representatives of the Liberty Hill Chamber of Commerce, restaurant management and employees.

The chamber announced the opening on social media, celebrating the arrival of the Texas-based burger chain and encouraging residents to support the community’s newest business.
The restaurant brings Whataburger’s familiar menu of made-to-order hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, breakfast items, fries and its signature Fancy Ketchup to Liberty Hill.

Founded in Corpus Christi in 1950, Whataburger has grown from a single hamburger stand into a major restaurant chain with locations across Texas and other states. The company is particularly well known for its orange-and-white branding and longstanding connection to Texas culture.

The opening comes as Liberty Hill continues to experience residential and commercial growth, with new businesses expanding along the State Highway 29 corridor to serve the area’s increasing population.

The Liberty Hill Chamber of Commerce encouraged residents to visit the restaurant, meet its management team and employees, and welcome the business to the community.

The new Whataburger is now open at 12925 W. State Highway 29 in Liberty Hill.
