Haywire plans $5 million restaurant in Cedar Park, with construction slated for 2027

Haywire, a Texas-inspired restaurant brand with locations across the state, plans to build a $5 million restaurant at 805 E. New Hope Drive in Cedar Park.

The 14,284-square-foot project will include covered and uncovered patio areas, according to project registration information. Construction is scheduled to begin March 1, 2027, and finish Nov. 1, 2027.

The restaurant will be built from the ground up with private funding on private property. The listed dates reflect the anticipated construction schedule; an opening date was not included in the project information.

Haywire has confirmed the restaurant will join CedarView, a 117-acre mixed-use development. In its announcement, the company said the location would feature an expansive outdoor gathering space and provide a destination for celebrations.

The brand emphasizes Texas cuisine and ingredients sourced from growers, farmers and ranchers throughout the state. Its restaurants pair that approach with wine collections, whiskey selections and spaces for private gatherings.

The Cedar Park project would expand Haywire’s Austin-area presence beyond its existing restaurant at Domain Northside. That location occupies approximately 13,000 square feet across multiple levels at 11501 Rock Rose Ave., Suite 100, and serves lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.

Haywire’s current location directory also lists restaurants at Legacy West in Plano, Uptown in Dallas, Memorial City in Houston and La Cantera in San Antonio.
