Chaparral Ice invites the community to join them in Cedar Park all day Saturday and Sunday, September 5-6, to celebrate their opening weekend with public sessions, free classes, hockey, figure skating, and much, much more. Pre-registration is required to attend, and spots are expected to fill fast.
According to their website, Chaparral aims to provide something for everyone: unstructured skating, broomball, dodgeball, curling, birthday parties and summer camps, field sports, and soon, arts and education offerings as well. The new facility also features an in-house gear pro shop and skate maintenance services including skate sizing, sharpening, thermal baking, and gear for all field sports.
