La Joie – Cedar Park is set to open November 19 according to austin.culturemap.com, at 1500 E. Whitestone Blvd, Suite 200, Cedar Park, TX 78613. The spot was formerly occupied by Five Guys Burgers and Fries.
According to the restaurant’s website, “La Joie, meaning “joy” in French, features authentic Creole and seafood dining expertly prepared by Owner and Executive Chef, Nicholas Harrison. Chef Harrison’s menu features pristine seafood, locally sourced prime meats and an abundance of locally sourced vegetables. Elegant French Quarter inspired desserts are prepared fresh daily in the La Joie pastry kitchen.”
Highlights of the menu, which recently went live on the La Joie website, include gumbos made with seafood or duck, poboys featuring catfish, cauliflower, or fried oysters and shrimp, and specialties like Oysters Lafayette, stuffed pork chops, and Wagyu steaks.
