Residents will have an opportunity to tour Taylor’s new Public Works Department facility during an open house scheduled for July 1.
The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the new facility, located at 205 S. Edmond St. City officials are inviting community members to visit the site, meet Public Works staff and learn more about the department’s operations.
Visitors will be able to tour the facility and view Public Works equipment and vehicles up close. The department oversees a range of city services, including infrastructure maintenance, streets, utilities and other essential public services.
Light refreshments will be served during the event.
The open house is free and open to the public.
